Obituary
Ann Laura Sorrells 57, died Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at her home.
Born in Nashville, TN, she was a daughter of the late Rev. Leonard Harold Sorrells and Hester Joanne McSwain Sorrells.
Miss Sorrells was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Surviving are two brothers, Paul Sorrells and wife Kathy Belew Sorrells and John Sorrells and wife Tina Flarity Sorrells; three nephews, Brian Sorrells, Josh Sorrells and Dayton Sorrells; four nieces, Sarah Sorrells Maloney, Rachel Sorrells Lambert, Lauren Sorrells Horton and Julia Margaret Sorrells; one uncle, Fred Sorrells; one aunt, Dorothy Lynn Sorrells Phipps; two great-nephews, Charlie Maloney and Grayson Maloney; five great-nieces, Peyton Maloney, Carter Maloney, Hattie Sorrells, Clara Sorrells, and Lillian Joanne Sorrells.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Sumter County Disabilities Board, and the staffs at Brunson East and Thomas Drive Residential Care Facilities for their service in helping to make the last years of Ann’s life full and meaningful. We are forever grateful.
A Memorial Service will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Sumter at a later date.
