  Mary Parker Ellis Birth: 1756 Caswell County North Carolina, USA Death: 1845 East Ellijay Gilmer County Georgia, USA E Hoyt Ellis letters mentioned in the Ellis Cousins newsletters state "We found where Mary was buried and he (Lawrence Stanley, grandson of James Madison Ellis) said Walter might be buried there also". No markers. plowed under for Ellijay Poultry Plant". He called it Reed Cemetery(Reed Family Cemetery). Update; Sept 2011, Visited the Ellijay area and poultry plant in September, there is a small burial plot inside the grounds of the poultry plant where the flagpole is, infront of the office entrance. There is only one headstone (most recent), not a Ellis member. They let me drive in but would not allow any pictures taken. The whole area of the plant could have been a cemetery in the mid 1850's and plowed under. So sad!
