  Mary Alice Sorrell Lowe Birth: Sep. 3, 1868 Death: Oct. 24, 1891 The LaFayette Sun" - March 9, 1892: Mr. John H. Lowe and his little son, of Cass County, Texas, are visiting relatives in this place, the former home of Mr. Lowe. It will be remembered that Mr. Lowe had the great misfortune to lose his wife and little daughter, Estelle, some time ago, they being horribly murdered in their western home, an account of which appeared in these columns at the time. It would sadden the hardest heart to hear Mr. Lowe narrate the details of this most diabolical crime.
