He might have had more children, but not for sure. I found these on the 1850, 1860 Census. William and Mariah moved to Sevier, TN, found them in 1870 Census. They are both burred in Sevier County, TN in Emerts Cove Cemetery.
Mariah Couter Evans parents were living next to them in one of the Census - Abraham Coter, wife Sarah. Not sure what her last name is. Their daughter Eliza's death record is hard to read, some read Cooper, Couter, Cooter, not sure. (I would add Cotte, Cooter, and Cotner as we had two Cotter families in 1830 Sevier County, TN and two Cotner families in Grainger County, TN - Doris Noland Parton)
