Richard Taylor “Bubbie” Redd, age 56, born July 3, 1963, was the son of the late Billy Joe and Betty Jean Skinner Redd, and is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Darlene Redd. Mr. Redd passed from this life Friday, March 27, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.
A native of Shelbyville, TN Richard graduated from Shelbyville Central High School class of 1983. He worked for over 25 years as a taxi cab driver for Mullins Transportation Service (MTS). He loved his profession and working hard but in his free time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cheering for the Crimson Tide and the Indianapolis Colts; and his favorite, watching NASCAR.
Survivors include: loving wife of 24 years, Nellie May Wilhoite Redd; children, Davey Redd, Sandra (James) Sutton both of Shelbyville, Joshua Kohler of MI, Felisha Garrett and Tommy Garrett both of Cookeville; brother, Donnie Redd of Shelbyville; sister, Janice Brown of Shelbyville; grandchildren, William Kemp, Samantha Kemp, Harley Sutton, and Dale Sutton; niece, Teresa Brown; nephew, Will Brown; and faithful companion his dog, Bear.

Private graveside service will be held Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Willow Mount Cemetery with Brother Randall Harmon officiating.
