  The Tuscaloosa News - May 24 1980 Text: Gilbertown, AL- A Choctaw County couple was slain Friday when shooting broke out during a dometic dispute. Sheriff Donald Lolley said early findings show that 64- year old Buford Sorrells shot and killed his estranged wife. Sarah Juanita Sorrells, at the home of hls son, Terry Sorrells of Gilbertown. Then Buford Sorrells himself was shot to death, apparently by hls two sons. Lolley said the slain couple was in the process of getting a divorce and Mrs. Sorrells, 59, had been living with her son.
