  Eva Louise Alphin Leonard Dunn Daily Record 12/11/2007 Louise Alphin Leonard, 92, of Dunn died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Magnolia Living Center following a lengthy illness. She was born in Harnett County on July 23, 1915, to the late Ernest Franklin and Lula Ellen Sorrell Alphin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Harris Leonard Jr.; brothers, William Paul, Silas Lee, Ernest Velton, Bruce Franklin, Jarvis Winfield and James Earl Alphin; and a sister, Bertha Grace Alphin Jackson Norris. A service celebrating her life will be held noon Wednesday at Cromartie-Miller & Lee Funeral Home by the Rev. David McGuinness of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Erwin. Survivors include daughters, Frances E. Leona rd of Dunn, Carole L. Hebb-Farrar and husband George of Richmond, Va.; granddaughter, Carrie Leonard Hebb of Richmond; a brother, Jesse Clifton Alphin of Dunn; nine nieces; and four nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. If preferred, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice
