COLLINS
WALNUT COVE -- Mrs. Shirley Jean Tilley Mabe Collins, 61, died Thursday, September 2, 1999 at her home. She was born in Stokes County to William Thomas Tilley and Mamie Ludie Lawson Tilley Lawson. She was a homemaker and member of Shining Light Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were two husbands, Raymond O. Mabe and Isaac P. Collins, Jr., one daughter, Rita Faye Mabe; one granddaughter, Chelsey Gwen Ziglar; and one step-grandson, Garry Wayne Inman. Surviving are three daughters, Wanda King, Ramona East and husband, Mike, and Rosanne Inman and husband, Wayne all of Walnut Cove; five sisters and two brothers, Ersie Goins, Hazel Medley, and Fred Tilley all of Lawsonville, Annie Mae Bullins and Pattie Sorrell both of Stokesdale, Brenda Cheek of Asheboro, and Sanford Tilley of Bassett, Virginia; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held Saturday, September 4, 1999 at Shining Light Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Jack Anderson and Rev. Randy Wall will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. this evening at Burroughs Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ramona and Mike East.
