  Davis Mrs. Emma Davis, widow of Bascom Davis, died at her house north of Petersburg Monday morning after several weeks of declining health. Hers was a life of sterling qualities and by her disposition was endeared to a wide circle of friends. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Funeral services from the Petersburg Church of Christ, were conducted Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. by Rev. Jim Sanders. Surviving are her son, Charlie Davis and several grandchildren. Burial at Old Orchard Cemetery. Lincoln County News - September 20, 1945
