Leona Durham Mclntyre, 82 COLUMBUS Leona Durham McIntyre, 82, of 416 Peniel Rod, died Thursday, July 11, 1991 at the home of a daughter
A native of Spartanburg Co., SC, she was the wife of the late Marvin Elphus McIntyre, and a daughter of the late Luther B. and Josie Henderson Durham. She was a member of Peniel Baptist Ghurch and was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, M. Harold McIntryre of Landrum, SC; four daughers, Magaret Horton of Landrum, Joyce Horton and Hazel Splawn of Columbus and Jane Haynes of Edneyville; four brothers, Horace Curham of Columbus, Russell Durham of Shelby, Jervey Durham of Green Creek, and Burley Durham of Tryon; three sister, Edith Foster, Louise Flynn and Geneva Cochran, all of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchilren.
A funeral will be held 3 p.m. Sunday in the Peniel Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Petty Funeral Home in Landrum. Publication: Hendersonville, Henderson County, NC, USA Date: July 13 1991 Page: 6
