  James 'Jim' A. Sorrels Evansville, Ind. James "Jim" A. Sorrels, 78, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016, at his home. He was born in Cromwell, Ky., on November 15, 1937, to Ethel and Henry Sorrels. He served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Jr.; sister, Vonittia Conway. Jim is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn S. (Wittenberg) Sorrels; kids, Michael Sorrels (Keisha), and Steven Sorrels (Connie), Michelle Harbison; brother, Henry Sorrels; sisters, Mourine Romans and Anna Sorrels; grandsons, Nick and Noah, Jaxon and Carter; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes ~ Volkman Chapel, 2nd. and Elm Streets, Elberfeld, IN (812) 983-4211.
