  Addie Elizabeth Reeves Morton Birth: Jul. 3, 1918 Madison County Alabama, USA Death: Feb. 15, 1981 Marshall County Tennessee, USA Mrs. Addie Elizabeth Morton died Sunday in Community Hospital in Lewisburg after a long illness. She was 63. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Ralston-Brown-McCauley Funeral Home in Petersburg with the Rev. Aubrey Knois officiating. Burial will be in Old Orchard Cemetery beside her late husband, John J. Morton, who died in 1969. Mrs. Morton was a native of Madison County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Franklin R. and Mattie Wilburn Reeves. She was a native of the First Baptist Church of Petersburg. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Louis Titsworth of Aiken, South Carolina, Mrs. Mary E. Allen of Mount Juliet, Tennessee, Mrs. Jean Hames of Crystal Springs, Illinois, and Mrs. Johnnie S. Spurlock of Shelbyville, Tennessee; two sons, Richard Morton of Lewisburg, Tennessee and Jerry Morton of Belfast, Tennessee; a sister, Mrs. Mary Lee King of Columbia, Tennessee; two brothers, Sid Reeves of Lewisburg, Tennessee, and James Reeves of Cornersville, Tennessee; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
