They left Arkansas and went to Camanche Co., Texas. Sometime before 1900 the family move to Custer Co., Oklahoma. James and Liney had the folowing Children: Eliza Alice Evans 1872-1943. She married Byron B. Brown 1864-1943; Joseph L. Evans 1874-1947. He married Callie C. Sands 1876-1922; James Douglas Evans Married Ellenora Sands. All are buried at Beck Cemetery
