MRS. ISAAC BLANTON RITES SET MONDAY - Leonard (spl) - Mrs. Isaac Blanton,76, died at 8:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 1959, at the home of her daughter,Mrs. Rufus Moore of Savoy. She had been ill for five months.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Blanton Chapel church between Trenton and Leonard. The Rev. George Griffin, pastor of the Savoy Baptist church, will conduct the services. He will be assisted by the Rev. Donald F. Johnson, pastor of the Forest Avenue Baptist church of Sherman. Earnheart Funeral home of Whitewright is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Randolph.
Mrs. Blanton was born Jan. 20, 1883 in Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. P.M. Teague, who moved to Texas in 1884. She married Isaac Milton Blanton on May 12, 1904, in the Blanton chapel church. Her husband died May 12, 1835. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Cecil Carter of Bonham, Mrs. Randell McDonald of Sherman, Mrs. Farris Hardin of Waco, and Mrs. Moore of Savoy; one son, Marvin Blanton of San Antonio; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
