She had 6 children before her death before 1908 with, I believe L.O. Bostick, but they never married. Owen Woods during an interview said he thought she was L.O.'s first wife - but it doesn't appear they ever married and I believe they were given the Bostick last name after their parent's deaths by AC Bostick. Evidence: Both Mack and L.O. are listed as single in the 1900 census, the children's last names are Simmons, AC is L.O.'s sole heir at the time of his death in 1908, and after that time all the children had the last name Bostick.
