  Frank M. Shields age 76 of the Pleasant Grove community, departed this life on Monday, 2004. He was preceded in death by his parents, S.A. "Hap" and Altha Gibson Shields. Mr. Shields was retired from the U.S. Military. Survivors include two sisters, Jean White of Dalton and Glenda Bandy of Cleveland; one brother, Roy P. Shields of Dawnville; nieces and nephews. Services are Thursday, at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home. The American Legion Post 112 servied as honor guard.
