Michael was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on December 14, 1985, but spent most of his life in the Valley of the Sun. He graduated from Desert Mountain High School and was preparing for a career in journalism at Scottsdale Community College while working part time at Wild Oats Market. Michael loved his family and friends, hiking, surfing and camping under the stars in the local mountains. He was an extraordinary person and spirit who will be missed very, very much. Michael is survived by his parents, John and Susan Coyne, his sister, Kristen, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents. A memorial service will be held at 10 am on December 29, at Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Road in Scottsdale. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Susan G.
