Willie N. Doty, 80, of 2416 Nathan St., died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Born in Greene County, he had been a resident of Sullivan County for 37 years and was an employee of Tennessee Eastman Corp. for 23 years, retiring in 1950. He was a member of Caney Creek Baptist Church in Greene County.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Anora McClain Doty; daughters, Mrs. Lena Overbay and Mrs. Clara Ruth Bridwell, both of Kingsport; sons, Clifford, Kingsport; Wilbur, Blountville, and Melvin Doty, Kingsport; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Carter's Chapel. Rev. James Shugart will Officiate. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.
