Services for Mrs. Margaret Morrison Blacksher, aged 83 years, who died at her home here, after a lengthy illness of complications, Thursday, January 2, were held at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Friday, at 11:00 a.m., by Rev. Vaughn Fults.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Jim Harvey, of Huntsville; Mrs.
Callie Benson, of Scottsboro, Miss Sallie Blacksher, of Petersburg; and
Mrs. Oscar Davis; two sons, Newsom and Robert Blacksher, of Petersburg; a sister, Mrs. Jesse Muse, of Flat Creek.
Mrs. Blacksher was born and reared here and was the daughter of the late Amsiah and Jane Morrison, of this community.
Burial was in the Old Orchard Cemetery.
