Mrs. Victoria Forreno Peradotti of Glen Carbon died Tuesday in Chicago at the home of a granddaughter, where she had been visiting for several months.
She was born Oct. 31, 1874 in Italy and had reached the age of 80 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Peradotti, on Nov. 1, 1940.
Mrs. Peradotti, a former Collinsville resident, was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
She is survived by three sons, John of Edwardsville, Peter of Collinsville and Charles of Gillespie; five daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bevilacqua of Collinsville, Mrs. Mary Gaudino of Chicago, Mrs. Rolla Durham of Glen Carbon, Mrs. Jennie Brown of Benld, and Mrs. Sam (Emma) Maggio of Chicago; 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Three brothers preceded her in death.
The body will be brought to the Lesley Marks funeral home from the Union funeral home in Benld, and friends may call at the local funeral home after 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Cecilia Catholic church, Glen Carbon, with the Rev. Paul Hebenstreit officiating.
Burial will be in the Glen Carbon cemetery.
