She was a native of Easley, South Carolina but had lived in Alma since 2013. Annie was born on June 30, 1930 to David Clark and Cummie Masters Clark. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis “Frank” Charles, one sister, Virginia “Ginger” Brittian. Survivors include one son, John Charles (Gail) of Greenville, SC., five daughters, Virginia (Ginny) Sisson (Rick) of Hoover, AL., Marie Whitacre (Max) of Alma, Jo Anne Mann (Joey) of Camden, AL, Theresa Mason (Gary) of Auburn, NY. and Barbara Sinclair (Dwight) of Suffolk, VA., two sisters, Dottie Stephens of Hickory, NC., and Rachel Griffith of Simpsonville, SC.; also 10 great-grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 25th at 1:30 PM from the Chapel of Crosby Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pine Lawn Cemetery. Crosby Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
