Gafford, who died Monday in the Electra Hospital, were held at 10:00 Wednesday morning from the chapel of the James B. Totten and Son Funeral Home. Officiating were the Rev. M.O. Evans assisted by Rev. Max Smiley. Burial was in Electra Memorial Park. A resident of Electra since 1928, Gafford was born in Hunt County in October, 1889. Survivors include two sons, J.T. Gafford of Electra and Lee Gafford of Holliday; three daughters, Mrs. Lois O'Rak of Wichita Falls, Mrs. Laverne Bishop of Lubbock, and Mrs. Lucille Arledge of Hennessey, Okla.; and fifteen grandchildren._ Electra Star_News January 11, 1962
