He married Linda Sue Suggs on April 7, 1956. He worked 10 years for the Dallas Morning News and 11 years for the Zales Corporation in Dallas. Until recently, he was a self-employed artist. He was a member of the Disciples of Christ. Mr. Wallace died Friday, Aug. 19, 2011 at his home. Survivors include his wife, Linda Lee Wallace of Gainesville; a daughter, Karen Kaye Gordon of Frisco; a son, Blake Anthony Wallace of Gainesville; 3 grandchildren, Laura Gordon of Dallas, Scott Gordon of Houston, and Taylor Wallace of Gainesville; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Rankin of Gainesville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
