DUMAS - Nancy McClary, 69, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2004.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Dumas Cemetery with Art Lynch, pastor of First Street Church of Christ, and John McClary, her son, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Mrs. McClary was born May 18, 1935, in Claude. She was an artist. She married Geary McClary on Dec. 28, 1952, in Clayton, N.M. She was a Dumas and Moore County resident all of her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 26, 2000.
Survivors include two daughters, Janice West and husband, Bruce, and Stephanie Christie and husband, Rex, all of Dumas; a son, John McClary and wife, Sue, of Dumas; her mother, Shelley Tipton of Dumas; two sisters, Nina Margaret Henry of Heartland, Mich., and Pat Moore of Dumas; two stepbrothers, Michael Tipton and Robert Tipton, both of Dumas; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason and Bethanie; and a great-grandson, Tony.
The family suggests memorials be to Moore County Art Association, 1810 S. Dumas Ave., Dumas, TX 79029; or Multiple Sclerosis Society, Panhandle Chapter, 6222 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, TX 79109-6730.
