- Carl Spicher Carl Spicher, age 78, of Wake Village, Texas, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Spicher was born September 19, 1934 in Albion, Oklahoma. He was a retired professor with Texarkana College where he taught electronics for twenty-two years and was formerly employed with the Raytheon Company. Carl was an avid golfer and guitarist, a member of the Wake Village Lions Club, a veteran of the United States Navy and Christian. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Fredia Bevnue and Ruby Wise. He is survived by his wife: Tamiko Spicher of Wake Village, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law: Wes and Laura Spicher of Texarkana, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law: Christina and Matthew Riley of Carrollton, Texas; six sisters and one brother-in-law: Mozelle Marshall of Poteau, Oklahoma; Lucille McGee of Talihina, Oklahoma; Pauline Strange of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Helen Uberman of Lindale, Texas; Lena and Lee O'Bryan of Pioneer, California; Mary Ann Carper of Lindale, Texas; two grandchildren: Grant Spicher and Adelaide Spicher; a number of friends and other relatives. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P. M. Monday at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rob Walker officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 P. M. The family will be at the home of Wes and Laura Spicher in Texarkana, Ar.
