Jeremy Harbin officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, August 31, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Tankersley died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born December 6, 1923, in Morgan County to Powell Cleveland Rowe and Brenda Smith Rowe. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Hartselle and was retired from Hartselle Utilities. Survivors include one son, Joe Ed Tankersley (Becky) of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Wesley Tankersley and Kristen Tankersley Green (Alan); and three great-grandchildren, Eli Tankersley, Dalton Green and Dylan Green. Pallbearers will be Johnny Rowe, Don Rowe, Dwight Tankersley, Kenneth Tankersley, Russell Woodruff and Jeff Woodruff.
