Dora's first husband was Alonzo L. "Lon" Brannan (b 2 Dec 1881, MS; d 13 Oct 1910, Sanger (Denton) TX [per death certificate). They were married on 23 July 1908, probably in Wichita Falls, TX [per notice in Wichita Daily Times, 24 Jul 1908]; have not found other marriage record. Lon and Dora are on the 1910 for Clay Co. TX, living near Henry A. Fox and Dora's brother, Marshall.
Lon's burial location is not known but is possibly in Hope Cemetery, Henrietta, Clay, TX as there is a record in the cemetery register for a "Lonnie" infant son of Lon Brannnan (born and died 22 Feb 1909 in "Laughton") Lot. 6, Blk 42, NE 1/4, Old Addition. The card file lists "Lee Brannon" same plot listed, with the note "2 burials in plot." The grave is rock-marked.
Dora and Lon had another son, Marvin F. Brannon [note "o" spelling], b 16 Apr 1910, TX, d 12 Aug 1972, Ardmore (Carter) OK (FAG Mem# 109538126). He served two terms in the Oklahoma Legislature, 1947-1950.
Dora married Henry Edward Fox sometime after 1910. The family is on the 1920 for Bryan Co. OK with Marvin listed as step-son.
