KNIGHT, HERBERT W. - age 71, of South Knoxville, passed away suddenly Sunday, January 4, 1998, at U.T. Hospital. Member of Stock Creek Baptist Church and Beaver Ridge Lodge #399 F.& A.M. Veteran of WW II, where he received a Presidential Citation. Preceded in death by father, B.C. ''Buck'' Knight. Survivors: wife, Beryl Knight; daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy and Mike Stansberry, Debbie and Gary Hubbs, Linda and Dicky Thomas; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Melissa Knight; grandchildren, Kelli and Julie Stansberry, Stephanie and Whitney Hubbs, Jessica and Joshua Knight, Ryan, Blake and Zachary Thomas; mother, Mae Knight, Clearwater, Fla.; sisters and brothers, Hazel Connatser, Houston, Texas, Jim Knight, Sweetwater, Tenn., Vina Knight, Knoxville, Richard Knight, Houston, Texas, Bill Knight, Knoxville, Don Knight, Clearwater, Fla., Chris Curtis, Clearwater, Fla.; special friends, Carl and Pearl King.
