Lottie Sorrell, 88, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away September 25, 2018.
She was born June 29, 1930, in Tipton County, Tennessee, to Frank and Julia (Billings) Hartgraves.
Lottie grew up on a farm, where she picked cotton and plowed the fields. She loved to cook and worked at Langston School’s cafeteria for 21 years. Lottie attended Hot Springs Baptist Church where she was a member of the Elizabeth Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Jim Sorrell; brother, Robert “Bud” Hartgraves; and sister, Daisy Irene Hartgraves.
Survivors include sons, Frank Sorrell, James “Jimmy” Sorrell (Lisa); daughters, Judy Tubberville (Paul), Shirley Willis (Sonny), Paula Fuhrman (Benny); sister, Ina Clay; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; special friend, who she loved like a sister, Eula Mae Vaughn; along with a loving family and a host of friends.
A celebration of Lottie’s life will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Hot Springs Baptist Church with Bro. Shane Robertson officiating and Mike Smith, Chris Warr, and Brandon Sorrell assisting.
Burial at Crestview Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Tony Peterman, Kamron Barber, Mike McCoy, Mike Karber, Lloyd Robertson, and Pat High.
Honorary pallbearers are Robby and Sherry Echols, Jeff and Cheryl Goslee, Ronnie Vaughn, The Billings Family, Tommye Couch, Scott Reding, Nick Avery, and Merek Rowe.
