Mrs. Carolyn Warren Adamson, 74, a resident of Moore County, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Lynchburg Nursing Center.
Mrs. Adamson was born to the late Vopal and Inez Parker Warren on April 4, 1942 in Moore County, Tennessee. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Mae Dean Hathcock.
She founded “In Home Care Services of America” in Knoxville, Tennessee and operated that business for many years before returning to the Moore County area. She is a member of the Charity Baptist Church. She and her husband Clarence loved to travel and were each other’s “greatest love in life.”
Along with her husband she is survived by her daughter Missy Hall of Knoxville, Tennessee and son Clarence Adamson, III and his wife Denise also of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Surviving brothers and sisters are Jerry, Doug and Dayton Warren along with Janette Montgomery, Vonda Jones, Peggy Campbell, Nancy Royston and Novella Koplan.
Also surviving are grandchildren Emily Baker and her husband Chance of Knoxville, Katelyn Adamson of Knoxville, Tennessee, Whitney Henderson and her husband Jordan of Maryville, Tennessee and Joshua and Shane Hathcock of Birmingham, Alabama.
Visitation with family will begin at 12 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at Lynchburg Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home’s chapel. Interment will follow at Raby Cemetery. Bro. Danny Hale will officiate.
