Iona “Johnnie” Justus passed away peacefully at The University of Tennessee Hospital, Knoxville, TN on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. She went to be her Lord at the age of 87 years old.
She was born in Knoxville, TN on January 20, 1931 to Frank and Nellie Smith. Johnnie was an avid Alabama fan and had a special love for Angels.
Preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Glen Justus.
Survived by daughters; Glenda Justus and Gale Craven, Grandchildren; Melissa Daniels and Sean Craven, Great-Grandchildren; Seth and Sara Daniels.
Friends and Family will gather for a visitation service on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy Knoxville, TN 37920. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:00pm following the Visitation Service. The family will meet at 2:30pm, October 13, 2018 at Ballards Chapel Cemetery at 2:30pm Saturday, October 13, 2108 for the Graveside Service. Rick Phipps will be officiating the services.
