Rites Set For Wreck Victim; Drivers Condition Critical

Mr. Miller died about 1:15 p.m. today in the Henry County Hospital. His death raises the total to sixteen traffic fatalities in the county this year.

Edward Miller, the 92 year old, retired farmer of Dublin, injured yesterday in an automobile crash on US 40 west of Dublin in which his housekeeper, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, 85, was killed, remained in a critical condition today at the Henry County Hospital. He is suffering from a fractured skull and is not expected to survive. (His birth year was approximated.)
The accident occurred when Mr. Miller attempted a left turn from the north side of the dual lane highway across the east bound lane at the Bentonville Road intersection at the James Motel. His car was struck by one driven by Rev. Clementine Wottle, a Catholic priest, from Kean's Canyon, AZ.
The couple was in route to the home of Miller's grandson, Elmer Walters, near Bentonville.

92-Year-Old Dublin Man Is The 16th Traffic Fatality
About two hours before a six year old boy, Tommy Ripberger was killed in an auto accident, Edward Miller, 92, Dublin died in the county hospital from injuries suffered Monday morning in a crash west of Dublin.
Thus the toll became seven deaths in a period of six day.

Dublin Man's Death 2nd in Same Wreck
Mr. Miller was injured in an accident Monday morning in which his housekeeper, Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson, also of Dublin, was instantly killed. Miller drove his car into the path of approaching traffic on US 40 while making a left turn into the Bentonville Road. He suffered a fractured skull and had been in a critical condition since being brought to the hospital.
Mr. Miller is survived by two daughters: Mrs. George Richardson of Glenwood and Mrs. Glen (Catherine "Katy" Jane) Walters of Bentonville; two sons: Adam Miller of Bentonville and Edgar Miller of Saskatchewan, Canada; forty-two grandchildren; sixty-four great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Miller will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Bentonville Christian Church with Rev. L. Richard Rahrar officiating. Burial will be in the cemetery there. Friends may call at the Doll Funeral Home in Dublin after 6 o'clock this evening.
