The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 212 E. Division. Burial will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery. The family will greet friends and relatives from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Baker Funeral Home in Peabody. He was born Jan. 28, 1940, in Hillsboro to Kenneth L. and Martha Bernhardt Grosse. On July 21, 1962, he was married to Sharon K. Shepherd, who survives in Peabody. He is also survived a daughter, Julia Kay Ensminger, and two granddaughters, Taylor and McKenzie Ensminger. A memorial has been established for the Peabody-Burns band program.
