Emma Lou Silvey Brown, 89, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Friday June 19, 2015. A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was a former employee of Sweetwater Rug where she worked for 30 years and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Millard Black; second husband, Leon Brown; son, Charles Black; parents, Luther and Ada Hughes Silvey; five brothers, John B., Paul L., Watson, Prince and Wade Silvey. She is survived by four grandchildren, Jeaney Bonds of Ringgold, GA., Desma (Tom) Bowers of Jacksonville, FL., Cindy (Jeff) Johnson of Ringgold, GA., and Tina Nealey of Tunnel Hill, GA.; special niece, Emma Jo Davis of Ringgold, GA.; three great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Dewayne Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-9 P.M. and Tuesday until funeral time at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Georgia.
