Henry Bagwell, first of his line in Virginia, married Alice, widow of Thomas Stratton, and had two sons, John and Thomas Bagwell. Thomas Bagwell married Ann _____, and had among others, Comfot, who married first Perry Leatherbury and secondly Robert Burton.
Thomas Stratton and Alice, his wife, had a son Thomas Stratton who married Agnes Johnson. Thomas and Agnes Stratton had a daughter Ann whose husband was William Burton, mentioned above as Capt. Wm. Burton. This William Burton was first of his line in Virginia.
Thomas Leatherberry died in Accomack, testate 1673. He and his wife Eleanor had sons named Charles, George, and Perry. This Perry Leatherbury received a patent to 1,000 acres "joining to his own and William Burton's land", dated 20 August 1689. He is who was married to Comfort Bagwell mentioned above.
