Obituary for Mrs Sharon Margaret Restivo
Sharon Margaret Restivo (née Flannery), age 69, passed away peacefully on November 20 after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Christopher Restivo of Marriottsville, Maryland, her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Chris Geddy of San Diego, California, her son, Patrick Redd of Marriottsville, Maryland, and her stepdaughters, Samantha Gonzales of Frederick, Maryland and Sarah Harrod of Taylorsville, Maryland.
Sharon adored her grandchildren Julia and Thomas Geddy, Nathaniel Redd, Gianna, Gregory and Gemma Gonzales, and Charlie and Bradley Harrod, who knew and loved her as “Nanny,” just like Sharon did with her grandmother.
Sharon was born December 11, 1949 in Pittsburgh and moved to the Baltimore Area with her siblings Terrance Flannery of Round Hill, Virginia, Maureen Flannery of Pasadena, Maryland, and Michael Flannery of Hamilton, Maryland. She was blessed with many beloved godchildren, nieces and nephews - all of whom rightly claim to be her favorite.
Sharon retired from Wells Fargo after for 18 years of service where many co-workers became her close friends. Prior to Wells Fargo, Sharon held branch manager positions at M&T and First National, and other financial institutions.
Sharon was the first to lend a helping hand. Her quick smile, kindness, warmth and sense of humor drew us all to her. She always looked for and found the good in everyone.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Friendship Baptist Church, 1391 Sykiesville Rd., Sykesville, MD 21784.
