She was 66. The Revs. Ed Johnson and Clyde Walker officiated. Burial followed in the Kirkland Cemetery. A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Annie Reese West and a member of the Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Elk Yarn Mills. Survivors include her husband, J. D. McPherson; two daughters, Mary Ann Lewter and Janie Patrick, both of Fayetteville; a son, Jimmy Renfro of Kelso; two brothers, Bobby West of Fayetteville and Billy West of Harvey, Ill.; two step-sons, Michael McPherson and Bryan McPherson, both of Manchester; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
