After 78 years of a life well lived Peggy J. Williams passed away on Nov. 21, 2016 in Oklahoma City. She was born on Jan. 5, 1938 to Ireland and Ruby Hawkins. Peggy graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1956 and was a legal secretary for over 35 years. She was an avid OU fan, lover of Elvis, pianist, but most of all she enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and her puppy dogs. Most of the time you could catch Peggy watching Walker, Texas Ranger, Heat of the Night, or working crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Tricia Williams. Peggy is survived by her husband Larry Williams; children, Lynda Dobson (Ron), Lauri Tennell (Mike), Lisa Robertson (Doug), Leah Blanton (Bobby), Hope Williams, Larry Williams, II, and Donald Williams (Carla); grandchildren, Justin Robertson, Lucas Dobson, Philip Robertson, Jason Dobson, Matthew Tennell, Caleb Robertson, Michael Ramsey, Steven Stillwell, Jordan Williams, Brighten Moore, Larry Williams, III, Brandon Williams, Bradley Coker, Maressa Scott, Courtney Turner, Shelby Stringer, Tiffany Williams, Christian Williams, Ashlen Williams, Bailey Williams, Kerrie Barry, and Brittany Williams; sixteen great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. Visitation will held on Wednesday from 3pm to 8pm and Thursday from 4pm to 8pm. Services to celebrate her life will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 am on Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City.
