She married Alva Preston Jordan on August 4, 1928. They resided in Nixa, MO until 1993, when she moved to Tyler, TX, after Alva's death. She had three daughters, Marieta Jane Jordan Lines, Marilyn Kay Jordan Mays, and Marjorie Ann Jordan Jones; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter James Shaddy and Gracie Jane Luallin Shaddy; sister, Veda Lillian Shaddy Langston and Lela Marie Shaddy Porter; her daughter, Marieta Lines; and her husband, Alva Jordan. Vivian went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2005. She was baptized in 1920 by Will Slater and was faithful to her death at the age of 97. Funeral services are May 31, all in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. SPRINGFIELD NEWS-LEADER 29/May/2005
