Mrs. Jennie Juanita Finchum Sawyer, age 90, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Sawyer was born on August 2, 1922 in Dandridge, TN to the late James Samuel Finchum and Hattie Lou McSpaduen Finchum.
Survivors include: Husband: Roy Garrett Sawyer; Two sons: Timothy (Carol) Sawyer, Douglas, GA and Joel (Sally) Sawyer, Orlando, FL; Four grandchildren: Andrew Sawyer, Mark Sawyer, Jennie Sawyer and Sarah Sawyer.
Visitation was held at Bethany Baptist Church, Brinson, GA on May 31, 2013 at 1:00 PM followed by funeral services at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary with Rev. Shep Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
Ivey Funeral Home, Bainbridge, GA will be in charge of arrangements.
