Funeral services for Andy Armstrong, aged 67 years, who died at the home of
his daughter, Mrs. Ben Williamson, near Petersburg, Monday night after a
brief illness of complications, were held Tuesday, conducted by the Rev.
H. J. Burroughs. Burial was in Old Orchard Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, James and Dick Armstrong; and three daughters, Mrs.
Ben Williamson, Mrs. Walter Swing, and Mrs. Virgil Scott, near Petersburg;
one brother, Jim Armstrong, of Bellville, and sister, Mrs. W. S. Stone, of
near Bellville. Several grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Armstrong was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
