Mr. Charlie Neal Ingle Sr., age 83 of Dalton, Ga., departed this life on Thursday, Aug 30, 2012 at his residence.
He was a son of the late Fate and Penny Chadwick Ingle. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lula Crider Ingle, sons, Johnny Hicks and Charlie Ingle Jr., brothers, Jay Ingle, Claude Ingle, Chester Ingle.
Mr. Ingle proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the New Life Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, David and Darlene Hicks of Dalton, GA, David Ingle of Flintstone, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Bobby Reeves of Fairmount, GA, Lynn and Ira Hefner of Dalton, GA, Minnie Davis of Chatsworth, GA, Ann Maddron of Cohutta, GA, Flora Rogers and Jeff Smith of Tunnel Hill, GA; brother and sister-in-law, C.L. and Eula Ingle of Dalton, Ga; seventeen Grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Sept.2, 2012 at the New Life Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Spence officiating. Interment will follow in the Dawnville United Methodist Church Cemetery. His grandsons Daniel Miller, Keith Holly, Tommy Hicks, Junior Hicks, David Hicks Jr. and Warren Davis served as pallbearers.
Arrangements were by Ponders Funeral Home of Dalton.
