Shirley Gaddis Fillers, age 83, of Greeneville died late Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Erwin Health Care Center.
Mrs. Fillers was a member of Bridges Chapel Church of God. She loved God and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Mrs. Fillers is survived by her husband of 23 years: Kenneth Fillers; four daughters: Pam Kimery, Elizabeth Stewart, Mitzi and Russell Bible, and Vicky and Gary Hartman; two sons: Stephen and Latonia Kimery and Terry and Judy Fillers; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; one sister: Bleeka Carper; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Erwin Health Care Center and the Alzheimer’s Unit.
Mrs. Fillers is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years: Bob Kimery; one daughter: Debbie Shelton; two sons: Bobby John Kimery and Kenny Fillers Jr.; her parents: Marion and Ruby Gaddis; one sister: Betty Lewis; and three brothers: Harold, Gene, and Hobart Gaddis.
The Fillers family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 pm and 5:00 – 7:00 pm Monday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Rev. Clarence Gammill and Rev. Stephen Kimery will be officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. Everyone is asked to meet by no later than 10:15 am on Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home to go in procession.
Pallbearers will include: Terry Fillers, Gary Hartman, Eddie Fillers, Michael Shelton, Ricky Fillers, and Timmy Watts.
