Doris A. Luquire, 93, died Monday, December 21, 2015, at Brookdale Durham Assisted Living. Mrs. Luquire was born in Durham and was the daughter of the late Lee David Andrews and the late Lenora Andrews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Alexander Luquire, Jr; one brother and five sisters.
Mrs. Luquire worked for BC Remedy.
Mrs. Luquire is survived by her son, Donald L. Luquire and wife Sharon; daughters Cathy Luquire and Vicki Brown; grandchildren Heather Gacina, Angie Shoffner, Kyle Dickerson and wife Melody, Shane Luquire and wife Shannon, Stephen Brown Jr. and wife Maggie, and Justin Luquire and wife Kirsten; and great grandchildren Maya Gacina, Elijah Harvin, Vinny Gacina, Ava Luquire, Oliver Luquire, Birch Dickerson, Samuel Brown, Anna Reese Dickerson, and Phoebe Brown.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Clements Funeral Chapel in Durham with Rev. Richard Church officiating. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Durham.
