My mom was a lovely person on the inside and out. She loved us kids, there was not anything she wouldn't do for us. She loved her parents especially her daddy.
She married my dad when she was 17, much too young. I think she was star struck. He was a tall handsome man back from the war. I'm not sure when the marriage went wrong but I would guess within the first 5 years. She stuck it out until we kids were grown.
She enjoyed politics, serving on many campaigns. She also had an artistic bent, taking after her mother and grandmother. She was a student of the Bible. My mom was much loved and missed.
