Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Sorrell was born April 16, 1917 in Richland, Pennsylvania to Clarence Jack and Helen Shannon Hildebrand. She attended State Teachers College in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Sorrell was retired from Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. She served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. A sister, Margaret E. Schoener preceded her in death. She is survived by: her husband, Robert T. Sorrell of the home; two brothers, Carl Hildebrand of Rockville, MD and Richard Hildebrand of Womelsdorf, PA.
