MARY A. GRAY
NEWPORT NEWS - Mary Annie Gray, 89, a native of King and Queen County and a Peninsula resident for 68 years, died Friday, Jan. 22.
Mrs. Gray was a member of Denbigh Baptist Church. She and her husband had been married for over 68 years.
Survived by her husband, Gus T. Gray; a daughter, Lois Ann Grubbs of Newport News; four sons, Gus Thomas Gray, James Edward Gray and Robert E. Gray of Newport News and Wilton L. Gray of San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Cornelius G. Guthrie of Newport News and James Thomas Guthrie of King and Queen County; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation from 3 to 4:30 p.m. today at Peninsula Funeral Home. Funeral 12:30 p.m. Monday at Denbigh Baptist Church by the Rev. Herbert D. Arnold. Burial in Peninsula Memorial Park.
