Linda Sue Sorrell, 76, of Mt Zion, IL, passed away March 23, 2020 at her residence.
Linda was born February 18, 1944, in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Bart and Norma (Carr) Gharrett. She married Clifford Sorrell on February 18, 1961 in Decatur, IL.
She was a member of East Decatur Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She enjoyed going door to door, teaching about Jehovah God.
Linda is survived by her husband, Clifford; children, Donna Welch (Dennis) of Decatur, IL, Clifford Sorrell Jr (Jill) of Clinton, IA, Joshua Sorrell (Julie) Normal, IL; sisters, Janice Gharrett of Decatur, IL, Barbara Adams of Sullivan, IL; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 infant son-Lyndon James Sorrell and sister, Donna Gharrett.
Private services will be held at a later date.
The Graceland Fairlawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of Linda.
