Evelyn Sorrells Warren, 85, of Shelbyville and formerly of Fayetteville, died Saturday (May 15, 1999) at the Bedford County Nursing Home after an extended illness. Mrs. Warren was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Joe and Clara Wagster Sorrells, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Shelbyville. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her son, Henry B. Warren, who died April 2. She is survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Monday morning at the Riverview Cemetery in Fayetteville, with the Rev. Isaac McDuffie officiating. Howell-Lawrence Funeral Home, Shelbyville, was in charge of arrangements.
