Nancy was the daughter of Thomas and Palatia [Bailey] Betterton, of Spartanburg Co SC.
She married Stephen White of Cross Keys Union Co SC about Jan 17, 1807.

William, Henry. There were probably
more siblings.
Nancy's father Thomas, was born in Frederick Co MD, abt 1750. He married Palatia about 1781 in Spartanburg Co SC.
Nancy and Stephen, left SC, 1811, and moved to Morgan Co GA, and later to Lowndes Co AL, by 1830, then to Houston Co TX in Jan 1836.
They lived a time in Walker Co then back to their property in Houston Co TX.
She and Stephen mysteriously disapeared sometime after the Civil War, and had died between 1860 and 1870, we assume in Houston Co TX, and possibly buried on their property.
